Fire kills
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/49766/Fire_Safety_in_the_Home_-_Version_2.pdf
Did you know…?
• You’re four times more likely to die in a fire if you don’t have a smoke alarm that works.
• 21 people die each year because the battery in their smoke alarm was flat or missing at the time of the fire.
• Around half of home fires are caused by cooking accidents.
• Three fires a day are started by candles.
• Every five days someone dies from a fire caused by a cigarette.
• Faulty electrics (appliances, wiring and overloaded sockets) cause around 6,000 fires in the home across the country every year.

Clark trading is a Hull based family owned and operated
independent light haulage firm, that is proud to support local charity Dove
House hospice.
We operate the latest Euro 6 standard 3.5 Gwt Luton van
enabling us to access a wide range of locations that larger lorries cannot get
to due to various factors.
We may only have a small 4 person team but between us we
have over 30 years logistics experience from our driver and director Paul with
his C+E, to myself with quite a few years experience in both road haulage and
warehousing in the Uk and Germany.
From our base in Hull we are only 5 minutes from Sutton
Fields industrial estate and offer both nationwide and European wide coverage

Lake Geneva (French: lac Léman, le Léman,[1] sometimes lac de Genève, German: Genfersee) is a lake on the north side of theAlps, shared between Switzerland and France. It is one of the largest lakes in Western Europe and the largest on the course of theRhone. 59.53% ( 345.31 km2 (133.32 sq mi) ) of it comes under the jurisdiction of Switzerland (cantons of Vaud, Geneva, andValais), and 40.47% (234.71 km2 (90.62 sq mi)) under France (department of Haute-Savoie).
Lake Geneva has been explored by four submarines, the Auguste Piccard and the F.-A. Forel, both built by Jacques Piccard and the two Mir submersibles.[2]
- LausanneCity in Switzerland
- Lausanne is a city on Lake Geneva in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland. It’s home to the International Olympic Committee headquarters, as well as the Olympic Museum and Archives. The old city has medieval, shop-lined streets, a 12th-century Gothic cathedral with an ornate facade and the 19th-century Palais de Rumine, housing fine art and science museums.

My Day on the Road
I normally help run the office here at Clark trading jointly with Lynne (mum ) but now and then I go out on the road to see what, our delivery team see and do.
And I went out yesterday
Well I say Yesterday we set off at 04:20 on Friday yesterday we did not get back in the yard till 01:00 this morning just shy of a 21 hour day. Which Thankfully is rare that the van on the road that long.
So we set out to a town just north of Glasgow
Across the A66 and up the M6 onto the M74 I will say the scenery along the way is just stunning around the boarder area. Then from The town north of Glasgow to Aberdeen via Perth and Dundee. There was this one bridge which had a cliff to the side of it.
The down side was the m74 traffic jam. 4 miles in 3 hours. we where due in Hull at 21.30 not 01:00 like in the end
